A worked example

You sell BANKNIFTY strangles intraday. You create a dashboard called "BN selling" with:

• BANKNIFTY OI by strike, top right, to watch where writers are adding.
• PCR vs index, bottom left, for the sentiment read.
• India VIX vs index, bottom right, so you see volatility turning before it hurts a short.
• Market breadth snapshot, a thin strip along the bottom, for the whole-market context.

At 9:20 you open this one dashboard and everything you need to place and manage the strangle is in front of you. You save a second dashboard, "Post 2pm", that swaps the option chain for a positions panel and a day P&L chart for the management phase.

How to use it in Stolo

1. Log in to Stolo and open Dashboards from the main menu.
2. Click Add New Dashboard, name it, and start empty or from a template.
3. Add widgets from the picker, then drag to position and drag an edge to resize.
4. Set each widget's symbol.
5. The layout saves automatically. Open it full screen for a session-long view.
6. Build a second dashboard for a different phase of your day and switch between them from the Dashboards list.

Can I have more than one dashboard?

Yes. You can save several dashboards and switch between them from the Dashboards page. A common setup is one dashboard for the pre-market and market open, one for intraday option selling, and one for trade management, each with the widgets that phase needs.

Is there a full-screen mode?

Yes. A dashboard can be opened full screen so the widgets use the entire display, which is useful on a second monitor left running through the session. A minimap helps you navigate a large layout.

Do dashboards update live?

Yes. Every widget on a dashboard streams the same live data it would on its own page, so the whole board updates through the session. Widgets that support a historical date can be set individually.

How is a dashboard different from the Instrument Overview page?

The Instrument Overview page is a customizable board for one instrument at a time. A custom dashboard is free-form: multiple instruments, any mix of market-level and symbol-level widgets, saved as a named layout you can keep several of. Use Overview for single-name analysis and dashboards for a personal trading screen.

Are my dashboards saved to my account?

Yes. Dashboards are stored against your Stolo account, so they follow you across devices. You can edit, rename or delete them at any time from the Dashboards page.
